Upcoming EPHS Volleyball Season

INFORMATION FOR EPHS VOLLEYBALL SEASON

Below are some important dates & information for the 2017 EPHS Volleyball Season  
 
Player Meeting – Tuesday, May 16th at 3:30pm in the EPHS Auditorium

The players will learn more about summer volleyball activities and the fall high school season at this meeting. Preliminary season schedules will be handed out at the meeting as well as other important information. All interested players currently in grades 7th thru 11th are welcome.

Summer Captain’s Practice – EPAC Courts 5 & 6

These dates are tentative and will be confirmed at the beginning of June:

   Thursday, July 6th – 1-3pm

   Monday, July 10th – 9-11am

   Wednesday, July 12th – 9-11am

   July 17th – 20th – EP Elite II Volleyball Camp 9am-4pm (register at epvolleyball.com)

   Monday, July 24th – 9-11am

   Wednesday, July 26th – 9-11am

   Monday, July 31st – 9-11am

   Thursday, Aug 3rd – 9-11am

Fundraising Activities

   May 20th – Trivia Night for Parents, Coaches, Alumni, and VB Friends

   May 23rd – Zupas Dine Out Night (portion of proceeds donated to vb program)

   June 17th – Grocery Bagging at Cub Foods in Chanhassen

   July 13th – Noodles Dine Out Night (portion of proceeds donated to vb program)

   July 15th – Car Wash @ Cub Foods in EP

   Sept 2nd– Pudas Invitational (all players and parents are expected to participate)

Tryouts for Fall High School Season – Start Monday, August 14th

Online registration for fall volleyball will open in July. Please remember that all athletes must have a current physical on file with the school that was completed within the last three years.

EPHS Volleyball Fundraising Event - Trivia Night

 

The EP High School Volleyball program is putting on Triva Night fundraiser, please consider supporting the High School VB program.

EPHS Volleyball Fundraising Event – Trivia Night

Please join us for a fun evening with volleyball parents, coaches, alumni and friends. Put your smarty pants on and compete in a battle of the brains! All proceeds go directly to the volleyball program.

DATE:  Saturday, May 20th

TIME: Doors open at 6:15pm, Trivia begins at 7:00pm

WHERE: American Legion, 290 Lake Drive E, Chanhassen

COST: $25 per person

FOOD & DRINK: Appetizers and unlimited nonalcoholic beverages are included. Adult beverages will be available for purchase during the event.

CREATE A THEME FOR YOUR TABLE: Feeling inspired and festive? Decorate your table and dress according to your theme. Best theme wins a prize!

PRIZES & RAFFLES: There will be prizes for the winning table and the table with the best theme. We are planning to raffle off donated prizes to help raise funds but we still need more raffle items! If you would like to donate an item for the raffle please contact Kari Ann at kariannp8@gmail.com.

HOW TO SIGN UP:  The plan is to have 8 people per table but if you really need some extra brain power at your table we will let you squeeze in 2 more people for a maximum of 10 per table. You can send an email to epvolleyball2017@gmail.com to sign up. Make sure you include your name and any team member names for your table. Or you can fill out the Registration Form and either email it to epvolleyball2017@gmail.com or send it with your payment.

HOW TO PAY: Cash or check (made out to EPHS Volleyball) can be turned into any of the Team Captains (Grace Persson, ShaeAnn Nelson, Hannah Bley) or Captains Moms (Kari Ann, Dara, or Heather) OR mailed to Heather Bley at 7039 Willow Creek Road, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.

DON’T HAVE A TEAM OF 8? No worries! We can assist in creating tables for individuals or partial groups.

The deadline for signing up is Monday, May 15th. If we don’t get enough people interested in attending we will need to cancel the event. If cancelled, full refunds will be given to those that signed up and paid for the event.

Summer Programs

 

The EP Volleyball Association has two great options to keep your girls active and improve their skills this summer. 

 

1. Registration is currently open for Summer Volleyball Camps for girls K-12

Click the Summer Programs tab for more information . . . or click here to register

 

2. For the older girls with JO experience entering 7th-12th grade (including current seniors) there is a two on two competitive Beach Volleyball Program. 
   
Registration for the Beach Program will open 8am Saturday March 18th for players that live in Eden Prairie or attend Eden Prairie Schools, registration for non-residents will open April 2nd at noon.
Capacity is limited so find your partner and register early!

Mobile App

 

Mobile App and Calendar Tip:

Our website vendor has a mobile app you can load on your smart phone to stay current with the team schedule.   In the iTunes or Google Play app store search for the app named "SI Play"  Once you have it installed log in with the same id and password you use for the epvolleyball.com website and it should find the volleyball team your daughter is assigned to. Once you are connected to the correct team(s) it will stay in sync with any calendar updates.

You can also create a calendar feed to your home computer's calendar.  Navigate to your daughter's team, select schedule, then click the Options menu on the top right to find "Calendar Feed".

OK I am here at the site. What do I do now?

FIRST -- CLICK "EDIT MY ACCOUNT" on the tab at the bottom of the left column of tabs. When you click on the EDIT MY ACCOUNT tab, a box appears that says: "SIGN IN".  Enter your email address (that you provided at registration).   YOU DO NOT HAVE A PASSWORD YET.  LEAVE THAT SPACE BLANK and click "SUBMIT" The system will email you a TEMPORARY PASSWORD that you will enter when you return to the EDIT MY ACCOUNT tab and SIGN IN box.   This will give you access to your family's account where you should CHECK THE DATA FOR ACCURACY and make any changes you need.
