Optional Skills Clinics

Optional Skills Clinics
These sessions are only for girls who are currently on a EPVA JO team.

EPVA is excited to offer again this JO season optional skills and positional training clinics.  Generally speaking the schedule is as follows (confirm actual dates on Master Calendar):

U12 teams will be on Friday nights, 6:00 - 7:30 PM, with Chad Becker facilitating

U13 - U14 teams will be on Wednesday nights, 8:00 - 9:30 PM, with Chad Becker facilitating

U15 - U18 teams will be on Friday nights, 7:30 - 9:30 PM, with Scott Johnson facilitating

Each optional clinic will be split into two separate skill/position specific sessions.  Details can be found by clicking here.

We recognize that additional volleyball evenings may create schedule conflicts for some players, and we assure you these are not mandatory events.  Our only goal is to provide as much skills development time as possible to our players.  Attendance will not impact a players’ standing, and will not be taken into consideration when determining playing time in league games and tournaments.   We want to emphasize that this is optional practice time, and flexible to the extent that one can choose to attend all sessions in a given evening, or choose to participate in as few as one skill/position clinic throughout the season.  You can come and go as your schedule allows.

Registration is now open and our first event is Wednesday January 14th (U13-U14).  If you register to participate, there will be a one-time flat fee of $75 you can pay during the registration process or if you choose to defer the fee can have added to your second half balance, which is due in March.  Payment of this fee will allow a player to attend any or all sessions, at your discretion.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to Steve Gudvangen ( / 612.799.2601) or Brent Pond (  / 952.943.2038) with any questions you may have.

Thank you,
